You will be required to show your COVID-19 vaccinations to enter into the country as fully vaccinated. You will be able to do this using the NHS COVID app. |

On arrival: |
All travellers need to ensure that they have also applied for a Sri Lankan visa before travel. You will need to show your tourist visa and your status as fully vaccinated upon arrival into Sri Lanka. The COVID pass issued by the NHS is valid as proof of vaccination into Sri Lanka however this needs to be in paper and not digital format. You should also ensure that you have comprehensive travel insurance which will cover Health and other expenses related to COVID. If you are travelling with children under the age of 12 they are exempt from the above. If you are travelling with children aged 12 to 18 who are not fully vaccinated, please follow the not vaccinated guidance. If you have recently recovered from COVID19 If you have recovered from COVID19 in the last 3 months and are fully vaccinated, then you are able to take an antigen test within 48 hours of travel. If this test is negative you will be able to travel. You will need to show your COVID Pass recovery document showing your vaccination status and recovery as well as following all other entry requirements. This should be in paper and not digital format. |
