Proof of vaccination:

You will be required to show your COVID-19 vaccinations to enter into the country as fully vaccinated.  You will be able to do this using the NHS COVID app.

Test pre-travel/recovery certificate: Not required
On arrival:

You will be screened on arrival into Namibia and may be selected to take a random PCR test on arrival.

Your NHS COVID pass will be able to be used to show your proof of vaccination.

Form pre-travel:

A Traveller Health Declaration form will need to be completed before travel.  Please check on the link below to see when you are able to complete the form needed for your destination.  You may need to either complete this form electronically, or print out and take with you to show at the airport of departure and arrival. It is important that you check the form as early as you can for time frames as this may need to be completed up to 7 days before travel, or as little as 24 hours before travel.

You should wear a face mask in all public areas and maintain social distancing where possible.

The sale and purchase of liquor for off-site consumption is permitted from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturday.

Nightclubs, gyms and public recreational spaces are open but are only able to operate at half capacity

Test time:

Any person entering Namibia must present proof on arrival in Namibia of a negative COVID-19 test taken in the country of departure. The test result must not be older than 3 days (72 hours) at the time of entry into Namibia.

From 15 November, Namibia will commence use of the Trusted Travel Platform to verify COVID-19 tests taken before travel to Namibia. Accredited laboratories testing can be found on the Trusted Travel website. Those travelling to Namibia with test results from non-Trusted Travel compliant laboratories will be required to upload a copy of their results on the Global Haven System for authentication.

As of 15th January, only test results obtained from the Trusted Travel Platform or verified on the Global Haven system will be valid for entry into Namibia.
