You will be required to show your COVID-19 vaccinations to enter into the country as fully vaccinated. You will be able to do this using the NHS COVID app. |

On arrival: |
You will be screened on arrival into Malta and will also need to show proof of your fully vaccinated status. You are classed as fully vaccinated two (2) weeks after your final dose. You will need proof of vaccination to enter into Malta. You can use your COVID vaccination certificate (both digital and letter versions) as proof of your vaccination record. Digital certificates much include a verifiable QR code. Children under the age of 12 do not need to present a vaccination certificate or a COVID19 test result to enter Malta. Children aged 12 to 18 will be permitted to enter either with a vaccination certificate, or a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before arrival or an antigen test taken 24 hours before arrival.

Local regulations: | It is mandatory to wear a face mask in all indoor public spaces. You must also wear your face mask in all outdoor public spaces, unless you are in groups of no more than 2 people who have both received a booster dose of a valid vaccine. Under 3's are exempt from this. You will need to present a valid vaccination certificate to enter the following locations if you are aged 12 and over: Bars and restaurants, cinemas. pools, spas and saunas, theatres and organised public events. If you test positive while in resort If you test positive for COVID-19, you may need to stay where you are until you test negative. You may also need to seek treatment there.
