Entry Requirements for Vaccinated Visitors
Proof of vaccination:

You will be required to show your COVID-19 vaccinations to enter into the country as fully vaccinated.  You will be able to do this using the NHS COVID app.

Test pre-travel/recovery certificate: Not required
On arrival:

On arrival you will have your vaccination status and test results verified with the ArriveCAN application. 

Children aged 12 to 17 who are not fully vaccinated are subject to a 14 day quarantine on arrival into Canada along with testing requirements pre travel, on arrival and day 8 whether they are travelling with fully vaccinated travellers or not.

Children under 12 who are not fully vaccinated can enter into Canada if travelling with a fully vaccinated traveller.

Form pre-travel:

A Traveller Health Declaration form will need to be completed before travel.  Please check on the link below to see when you are able to complete the form needed for your destination.  You may need to either complete this form electronically, or print out and take with you to show at the airport of departure and arrival. It is important that you check the form as early as you can for time frames as this may need to be completed up to 7 days before travel, or as little as 24 hours before travel.

Local regulations:

Provincial governments set their own measures in relation to COVID-19 and it is advisable to check locally on these. 

You should maintain social distancing where possible and wear a face mask in all indoor public areas.  It is also advisable to wear a face-mask in outdoor public spaces where crowded.  You may also have to wear a face-mask on local transport.

Most shops, bars and restaurants are operating as normal, but there may be restrictions on the number of people allowed into spaces at any one time, therefore you may queue to enter.

It is advisable to book into restaurants to ensure you can get a table.

Only people with an eligible right to enter Canada (not tourism) are permitted to enter if unvaccinated.

On arrival:

You will need to show proof of PCR test before departure and, upon arrival quarantine for a period of 14 days in Canada.  You will also need to take a futher PCR test at the airport and take additional testing in your quarantine period.
