Proof of vaccination:

You will be required to show your COVID-19 vaccinations to enter into the country as fully vaccinated.  You will be able to do this using the NHS COVID app.

Test pre-travel/recovery certificate: Not required
On arrival:

You will be screened upon arrival for COVID-19 symptoms.

You will be able to use the NHS COVID pass as proof of your vaccination status, however it is advised to print a copy of the document and not use the digital version as this may not be accepted.

Children under 12 are exempt from testing and this requirement.

Local regulations:

Face coverings are compulsory in all accommodations and temperature checks take place at entry points. The majority of shops and restaurants continue to operate normally but customers are required to wear face masks. Many establishments also conduct temperature checks and require name and contact details upon entry. 

Alcohol sales in restaurants and hotels is permitted.  Alcohol sales in shops are permitted for takeaway and on weekdays only.

The majority of shops and restaurants continue to operate with measures in place such as face coverings and social distancing.

Test time:

All tourists must present a negative PCR test for COVID-19 on arrival. The test and negative PCR certificate must be issued no more than 3 days (72 hours) prior to your arrival.

On arrival:

You will be screened on arrival for symptoms of COVID-19.

Upon arrival you will need to take a further test on arrival at your port of entry.  Results can take a few hours to come through.
