We know that many of you are desperate to plan a holiday overseas this, or next year. To guide you through the Covid-19 travel maze, we've created this one-stop advice hub which makes it easy to see what Covid travel restrictions are in place in over 50 popular destinations. The hub provides a country-by-country searchable guide including whether destinations are welcoming visitors, travel corridor information, current FCDO advice, Covid testing requirements, and quarantine rules on entering a country or returning to the UK. It also provides guidance on the Covid safety policies of our major airline partners.
Below is a list of countries that are available to book for either now, or later this year. Select the destination that interests you to find details of entry and return requirements. Each country also has a coloured dot next to it to indicate its current level in the traffic light system.
You are able to travel to these countries without the need to quarantine or self-isolate once you return back to the UK. You will however need to ensure that you follow the pre-departure and arrival COVID-19 testing requirements, listed under each country page.
You are able to travel to these countries without the need to quarantine or self-isolate once you return back to the UK at present, however they have been placed on the watch-list as there is a strong possibility that the country could move from Green to Amber or Red in the coming couple of weeks. You will still need to follow the pre-departure and arrival COVID-19 testing requirements, listed under each country page.
You are able to travel to some of the countries within the amber category, so long as the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advice allows for non-essential travel. You will need to complete a mandatory period of self-isolation in your own home once you return back to the UK and will also need to follow the pre-departure and arrival COVID-19 testing requirements listed under each country page.
If you are returning to England, Scotland or Wales on or after the 19th July 2021 and are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, then you may be exempt from self-isolation and some testing requirements.
You are currently unable to travel to these countries from the United Kingdom. Anyone returning from these countries that are a British or Irish resident, will need to stay in hotel quarantine on arrival into the UK at their own expense for 10 days. Pre-departure and arrival COVID-19 testing requirements also apply which are listed under each country page.
